Over the past several years I have seen a significant rise in patients seeking treatment for anxiety. I use a multi-pronged approach to teach patients how to conquer their anxiety using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Given that it is physiologically impossible to experience both anxiety and relaxation at the same time, I pair CBT strategies with relaxation techniques. Finally, I will provide you with the tools to create new neural pathways that will challenge your brain to think in new ways.
Working with individual patients as well as couples to improve the quality of their relationship(s) is a true pleasure for me. If you are in a relationship, therapy can help improve your communication and connectedness, fortifying your bond. If you are experiencing a relationship loss, therapy can help you navigate the pain, sadness, fear, and disappointment. Treatment can help you to not only heal but empower you to move forward, establishing future relationships that are honest, compassionate, and nurturing.
